3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Nose is smoke, treacle, brown sugar touch of espresso at the base. Taste follows the nose with smoke, leading to dates, a little cocoa and dark fruits. The mouthfeel is too thin.
It’s a reasonable stout that verges on the porter in places.
