[4578-20120702] Tap. Mild citrus peel aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Creamy citrus hops flavour is muted with a light graininess. Medium body has just a little bitter bite. Quite tasty and certainly refreshing on a hot summer’s day. (7/4/7/4/16) 3.8

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 solidfunk (1790) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2012
Smells fruity and full. Pours with thick head and long lasting, with some decent head lacing. Smells hoppy and almost fishy for some reason. A little citrus as well. Taste follows through on the citrus with lots of bitter ad even a rare touch of malt I dont see so much in Ipas. Good rounded taste and product. Hopefully i see this one again. On tap at the rhino.

Deep amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is lovely - soft citrusy bitterness with a touch of earthiness. Soft sweetness and a little bit of light bitterness. Full bodied with a little bit of light white pepper. Good balance and a solid brew.

On Tap at Gig’s: taps a reddish amber color, lightly hazed, 2 finger off white cap, medium carbonation. Aroma has the signature citrus notes from the citra hops, a bit of earthiness, sweet maltose notes, some fruit. Solid body, slick mouth feel, rounded character. Flavor profile starts with a big chew on caramalts which have good balance from the citrusy bitter hops, fruity tones, some white pepper notes, long increasingly bitter finish with a clean conclusion. A nice twist on the IPA style and a solid offering.

Gold amber pour medium white head. Strong hoppy citrus aroma, a little sweet earthy and skunky malt, overripe apples, wet grass. Oily full body. Slightly bitter throughout. Medium finish. Little but boozy but otherwise its not shy and a really enjoyable balanced brew.
