[4556-20120622] Tap. Fresh grainy toasted butter malt aroma. Clear, amber brown body with a quick foamy white head. Slightly funky sour grainy yeast flavour has an odd sourness in the background. Medium body. Weird. (6/3/5/3/11) 2.8

Cask at C’est What Summer Festival of Craft Breweries, June 22. Pours a hazy amber-red with a spare tan head. Aroma is fruity along with grain and caramel malt. Slightly watery flavour follows the aroma, it’s fruity along with some grain and caramel malt. Light to average bodied. A little watery and mild but overall it’s O.K.

On cask at C’est What Summer Festival Of Craft Breweries. Pours a slightly hazy darkish orange with very small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel and light herbal hops. Flavour is caramel and fruity malt with mild herbal hops. Light carbonation. Ok.

On tap with Paul the brewer at Brewer’s Backyard event, aka The Constitutional Draught. Noticeable undercarbonated, it would make a decent cask. Aroma is mollasses. The taste yields some pumpkin, mollasses and spice, with some spuce in the secondary. Some tweaks and this could be a good one, me liking the spruce and others more the pumpkin.Medium yellow bodied. Low IBU.

2012-06-22. Hazy dark orange, small tan head. Mild flavour, light fruit, sort of grainy undertones, bit thin at times. 6+ Mild aroma, lightly fruit, whispers of citrus. 6+ Average body is on the thin side and shows that fact more because of the very light carbonation. Okay, it is just too light all around for my preference. On Cask at C’est What Summer Festival of Craft Breweries, Toronto
