Lime aroma came wafting in pour. Mild, light mouthfeel. Dryness. Very drinkable.

Cask at ’Volo Cask Days 2009’. Pours a hazy gold with a spare creamy white head. Mild aroma of lime juice, citrus and ginger. Flavour, which is quite mild, of very light ginger and lime. Average bodied. Somewhat boring.

Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2009. Slighly hazy gold, not much head. Aroma of fresh-squeezed lime juice and grassy bitterness; pungent, and not sweet. Taste follows - lime, pungent spice (ginger?), dry, with light lemon grass and lime acidity to give this a real zing. Acidic, dry mouthfeel, with a long tingly dry finish. Really, really nice!!!

On cask @ Volo cask days: Appearance: Slight cloudy orange, small dirty white head. Aroma: Ginger, banana, yeast, lactose and cinnamon, smells good. Flavour: Muted malt, ginger, pepper and a nice long spicy ginger finish. Very pleasant.

[2562-20091031] Cask. Very mild watery ginger citrus aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy head. Solid ginger citrus flavour up front followed by a lime finish and a lovely ginger aftertaste. Light-medium body. Really great balance, and interesting recipe combination.

Volo Cask Days 2009. The ginger and lime are both represented and are easy to pick out. Very refreshing beer, another beer that would be amazing for summer.

2009-10-31. Hazy dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma smells a bit oxidized at first but I think it was just the initial presentation of the ginger, mild fruity character. 6+ Flavour is milder than I expected from the description of others, modest ginger throughout, light lime comes out more in the finish. 6+ Pleasant, quaffable. I found this to have much more ginger than lime, while others said the reverse. It certainly seems as if this cask may have been very much alive and changing with each sample. Intriguing! Cask at Volo Cask Days 2009
