2013-01-06. Hazy dark orange with a nice beige head and lace. 3++ Really interesting aroma, sweet orange, light wood accents, pale and caramel malt notes. Very lightly. 7++ Flavour is similar with a pleasant orange character that has notes akin to orange brandy or fruit cake, mild malt centre has biscuity touches. Alcohol is fairly restrained but you feel it on your cheeks. Though with that said the alcohol starts to grow more prominent as it warms up. Oak character grows more prominent too, adding a touch of pleasant oaky vanilla. 7++ Smooth medium bodied palate, soft carbonation suits it and adds to the smooth mouthfeel. 3+ Understated oak notes work for it.
