Tasted at Beerbistro, Toronto on 8 July 2011. Rich yellow color, off-white spongy head, fruity aroma, very interesting hoppy taste with unidentifiable fruity taste, mild carbonation, medium finish. A very interesting beer indeed.

Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly fruity with some light spiciness as well. There is a bit of light pepper and some unfortunate diacetyl as well. Light buttery flavour (ringwood yeast?) along with the fruit. Crisp bitterness but a touch of soft spice. Decent, but needs to lose the diacetyl.

On tap at the Wooly. Pours bright golden in colour, small white head. Aroma is slightly floral hop, taste is nice sweet malt and some floral hop. Very refreshing on a hot day like today!

On tap at Gambrinus. Slightly hazed deep yellow/gold, pours a foamy bleached white foam. Pleasant and simple aromas consist of grass, straw, grains, and a bit of sulphur. Medium hoppy bitterness is complimented by a grainy malt sweetness. Quite grainy, with some fruitiness, and an overall sulphuric/metallic quality. Medium light body, Lingering grainy metallic finish. Serviceable.

[3708-20110430] Cask. Bready grain aroma with a lot of floral yeast. Hazy, dark yellow brown body with a quick foamy white head and thick lacing. Yeasty bread dough flavour has a light floral petal quality to it. Medium body has a smooth finish. Tasty, refreshing on the back patio. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

2011-04-30. Lightly hazy, dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Flavour is interesting, grassy, flowery hops, light notes of something that reminds me of oxidation, but I don’t think it is. It is sort of like grainy pale malt that is been stretched a bit farther than it wanted to go. Adds a light astringent/grainy character throughout. 6+ Sweet floral hops in the aroma over a sweet grainy pale malt base. 6+ Average plus palate is smooth and suits it nicely though it could use just a kiss more carbonation. 3+ I am not sure if the flavour profile of this cask was entirely as intended, and the hop character is not to my own tastes. Might present itself better in a keg? Cask at Cloak and Dagger, Toronto
