3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brewers Backyard. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is dry fruit - banana and tropical - fair amount of spice and grains. Flavour has sharp wheat taste, banana and tropical fruit and a spicy corriander presence. Quite dry finish. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2012-07-02. Hazy pastel golden body with a modest white head. 3+ Modest flavour, mild wheaty bit, light grassy bitterness, mild sweet yeast and mild estery notes. Mild aroma, light wheat and malt character, fruit/banana esters as it warms. 6+ Very smooth average plus palate. Mild, it is less robustly estery than some of my favorite hefeweizens but I am not sure that was the goal. Regardless it is enjoyable and a lovely refreshing choice on a scorcher of a hot day. At Brewer’s Backyard event, Brick Works, Toronto

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brewer’s Backyard event, aka The Constitutional Draught. Put forth as a cross between a Belgian wit, a German wheat beer, with some American toning. I was getting a basic wheat beer, lots of coriander. Suitably carbonated, yellow bodied, medium mouthfeel.Reasonable drinkability.
