Most decorated marine true? Loved this brew fairly dry, malts were apparent and supported the brew, it is hard to find good rish reds, usually they are food colored bud light. Will cruise back to have this again!

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had one with corn beef and cabbage at Murphy’s law in Oceanside. Nice bright british island flavor, with a nice subtle sweetness. No detectable diacetyl. Was enjoyably thin in the body. The rich corn beef paired nicely with thirst quenching character. I find it hard to enjoy hoppy IPA’s with food other than Pizza.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap @ Legacy Brewing. Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Intense grape and prune aromas. Very buttery and also acidic. Smells like garbage...literally. Flavors of popcorn, prune, and sugary grape juice. Lots of butter, some bitter cardboard, and a slight acidity to the finish. Really watery and slick on the tongue.

On draft at Legacy Brewing Co. This irish red ale lives up to its name sake, Chesty Puller -- both are bad ass! I’m absolutely loving this brew. A phenomenal nut finish unlike anything I’ve tasted.
