Keg @ The Swan, Hammersmith. The pour’s gold with a tiny white head. The aroma’s stewed vegetable, aggressively sweet pear reduction, bubblegum. The taste is an assault of artificial apple candy and honey. Little else. WAY fizzy. Light body. This is tough to drink. So sweet and unpleasant.

Draught at Sir Christopher Hutton, London. Deep golden color. Sweet malty aroma and flavor with malt husks, honey and bread. Soft carbonation, very drinkable. Brings German brewpub helles to mind. A positive surprise.
