On tap @ The Swan, London. Clear golden body, medium white head. Nose is catty herbs, grass, spruce, pale malts and hints of citrus, cacti and red fruits. Taste is catty herbs, spruce, pale malts, red fruits and hints of cacti and citrus and straw. Light body, medium carbonation. Nice hoppy blond ale on the herbal/citrusy end of the spectrum.

Keg at the Olde Watling, London as ’Chevallier Outlier Suffolk Blonde’. Orange, clear, lightly sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma has some tangerine, musty lager. Body is medium to light, soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is passionfruit and tangerine, a little dry with a soft bitter finish. Lager / macro keg pale ale hybrid. Reminds me a bit of Camden Pale Ale.

Keg @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Clear golden with a thin head and a small carbonation. Mainly a lager although there are pale ale notes in here that create a small smoothness in its texture. Easy drinking for its strength.

August 25, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Mudlark. Not good. Pale mostly clear yellow with a minimal white diminishing head. Aroma and taste, dishwater and lemony papery grain. Thin body, still, quick finishing with a slightly harsh aftertaste. Thank goodness for half pints.
