Citrus-grapefruit and floral tones to the surprisingly hoppy aroma. Clear yellow-gold with low but lasting white head that eventually recedes to ring with some nice lacing. Grainy malts with a doughy, bready, doughy undertone and a fair hop flavour that offers suggestions of grass and herbs. Mild finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with low carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a ring of white lace. Zesty aroma of lemon with crisp hops. Very good flavor of floral and citrusy hops while having a solid malt base, there’s also a very interesting fruity flavor, close to lemon, and a lingering sweetness. The finish is bitter. Light body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Very good.

Tap. May 2004. Hazy sickly gold with a very faint citrus aroma. Nice balance of malts and hops with very sharp german hops. good bodied.

Unfiltered blond. Thick white head. Aroma of whole wheat pancakes, light earth. Woody early, earthy and fairly bitter in the finish. More an English bitter than a Munich anything.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2009 Citrusy, spicy hops surf the cushy honeyed and bready cereals...The herbal bitterness is breathtaking and cushy body reminiscent of some Bohemian Pilseners…This is very drinkable, well-built and well-executed simplicity…
