2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at the Renaissance, Chicago O’Hare bar. I was hoping for something more impressive with this name from a local brewer but I was disappointed.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours light honey color. Healthy white head that dissipates to a foamy finish. Some lacing. Not picking up much aroma. Taste is a grainy bitter. Dry finish. Not terrible, not great, just ok.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light Copper, Huge Long Lasting Foamy Head, That Left Lots Of Lacing. Faint Hop Aroma. Grainy, Malty, Good Hop Finish, lasting Light Bitter aftertaste. I also had my portion of beers from Stevens Point, WI that were below par but this one was quite good. Whoever says that this one is like a macro, ever did not have a macro in a while and do not remember what they taste or should write me, so I could try a macro that has actual hops in it. Like I’ve said, pretty good for a style that is somewhat bland and is not that exciting. Refreshing and good thirst Quencher. Worth a Try.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: The aroma is pretty nonexistent. There’s just a hint of bread/cereal and grass. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is some decent thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with with a very quick dose of light honey and cereal. The finish has light grass with just a hint of apple. It’s light bodied with moderate-lively carbonation that is a bit prickly at times. Overall, there just isn’t much here. Sure, more flavor than your standard BMC, but this is still pretty bland. I guess you can call it a thirst quencher since there just isn’t much here to get offended by. That also means there’s nothing here to look forward to or get excited about either. There’s certainly worse out there.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle. Golden with small head. Lager with hoppy bite. Like all classic Chicago beers, it’s brewed in Wisconsin. Is there anything good they brew at Stevens Point?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent golden orange with foamy white head and lively carbonation. Smells and tastes doughy and a little skunky with an average (at best) mouthfeel. Meh.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
OK...basic lesson: Stevens Point makes bad beer. Buttery offensive aroma. An absolute butter bomb, complete amateur hour swill.. This should never have even been considered to hit the market, Seriously failing on all accounts. Bullshit consumer fraud.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Aroma has notes of aromatic hops and caramel malts with a classic lager yeast tone. Golden yellow hue with an average white head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium bodied and with average carbonation. Overall a nice lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Up front it is nicely herbal and hoppy, finishes watery and plasticy. Half way there.
