3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared with my father-in-law (thanks JoePeesie!). Pours a pale canary yellow with minimal white head. Aroma is mild of burnt caramel with a touch of pine. Better balance in the flavor with more hops presence. Slight cooked vegetable presence in the finish. Soft carbonation. Light overall and not bad.

4.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Yes, it’s underhopped - being a ’pale ale’, that’s the point, and why I’m rating it very highly. ’Hoppy’ flavor is a by-product of American craft brews, which I find distasteful, & tiring - literally. Great floral flavors pervade this brew. It also has a light citrus flavor (not overpowering Belgian style), & the color is lovely. I was not expecting much more than Chicago Goose Island, but was so pleasantly surprised. Hats off from a very critical beer connoisseur!

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Light amber bre with white head. Aroma of moderate malts and light hops. Taste is light sweet malts with a dry finish. Hops are very restrained. Weak. WHile I like lagers, the lagerishness of this one diminishes it. Yeah.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Undermanned and undergunned. Everything, aroma, color, tatse seemed watered down. Its as if you mixed one pale ale with one cerveza. Slight floral hop taste, light body, no finish, best thing i can say it was cold and its 102 and humid here in Chicago.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Refrigerated bottle from JoePessie, poured into a shaker. Pours hazy light orange with medium white head that dissapates fairly quickly. Good small bubble lacing, medium/thin body, light/medium carbonation, and nice citrus aroma. Tastes is citrus malt, estery bread, and finishes crisp hops. Refreshing.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear and light copper hued. Lots of carbonation to be seen but little head. Citrus and floral hops with light caramel in the aroma. Grain is the first thing tasted but it is a light flavor. Floral notes again with some zesty bitterness. Caramel is again light. Sessionable but not exciting.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clean crisp golden brown with white head. Nose and taste are sweet and malty. Not very exciting, but a decent drinker none the less.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear orange coloured body with a slightly hazy copper hue and a thinnish two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of light hops, citrus, grapefruit and a touch of malt. Light-bodied; Strong metallic taste at first with a decent amount of light and stale hops, some minor malts and not much else in complexity. Aftertaste is pretty subtle with only a few of the light hops coming through and perhaps a touch of the citrus. Overall, not such a good beer and not showing much, but not awful. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Chicago (Ontario Street) on 03-December-2011 for US$1.50 sampled at home in Washington on 20-February-2012.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I bought this as part of an M&M 6pk from Everett’s in South Beloit, IL for $9.99 in Summer 2011.
Pours a beautiful copper orange color with a pillow head of carbonation and leaves some very nice lacing around the glass. Scent is of bitter hops is very evident with some lesser hints of wheat and citrus. The taste is only semi-bitter. I was expecting a huge burst of bitter hop flavors but instead had a drastic drop-off that finished more like a light beer. Is refreshing and crisp but pretty much a run of the mill basic APA. If your not one for bitter beers, or want to try a weak bitter beer, this is a good starting point.
