2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I bought this as part of an M&M 6pk from Everett’s in South Beloit, IL for $9.99 in Summer 2011.
Pours a beautiful copper orange color with a pillow head of carbonation and leaves some very nice lacing around the glass. Scent is of bitter hops is very evident with some lesser hints of wheat and citrus. The taste is only semi-bitter. I was expecting a huge burst of bitter hop flavors but instead had a drastic drop-off that finished more like a light beer. Is refreshing and crisp but pretty much a run of the mill basic APA. If your not one for bitter beers, or want to try a weak bitter beer, this is a good starting point.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle 12/10/11 (Trader Joe’s Naperville)-42° in Lager Glass-Pours an orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops, orange, and malt. Taste of the same with a bit more hops and citrus on the back end. This medium bodied brew is not bad. Was expecting worse.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A slightly strange mix of hops and bread in the aroma. The flavor is very grainy with a moderate hop bite to it. Much more malty than expected, it wasn’t bad but not nearly as hoppy as APAs usually are.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Poured clear lighter orange with a short, dense, sticky white head. The aroma picked up deeper honey and pale malts topped by oranges and dry floral notes.. soft overall and fairly malt-forward.. not a whole lot to it, but no complaints. The flavor found honey, pale malts, and light crusty bread maltage at the core.. dry and spicy on the edges, showing orange zest and peppery rye.. dry finish with residual bitterness.. again OK. Light-bodied and dry on the palate with prickly carbonation.. slick and oily at other times.. not great transitions.. overall drinkable.

Pale amber color, bland flavor, completely forgettable. I don’t recommend this beer at all.

bottle.. clear dark straw, off white ring, ok... aroma of light orange peel, floral hops, stale, a bit skunky, to sweet overall, the more it warms the worse it gets wet dog and skunk... tastes really bad, skunky, stale grass, vanilla, skunk... pass

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear glowing amber small white frothy head. Aroma of slightly toasty crystal malt, dry pine. Flavor follows, on the dry side which is nice, crystal malt finish, slightly piney, Stevens Point does a nice job.
