COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The history of India pale ales date back to the 18th century when British troops occupied India. Beer was made in England and sent to the stationed troops. Pale ales were popular beers at the time and had to endure a six month journey to the distant country. Spoilage was common and one way to prevent the loss of beer was to add more hops to the existing recipe, which are an excellent natural preservative. The addition of more hops made pale ales stronger with a higher alcohol content. Basically, India Pale Ales are stronger over hopped versions of it's cousin, the Pale Ale. The style has grown very popular in this country over the years and can be found all around. Our IPA is more aggressive than most with a high hop aroma. The taste is a true hop bomb. The IPA appears somewhat cloudy because it is unfiltered, leaving every bit of flavor in the glass.

Deep copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is resiny hops and caramel malt. Sweet start of caramel malt followed by a solid bitter finish. Medium bodied but fizzy. Pretty good beer

Aroma was great. The flavor was real bad, this was the last session at gabf, maybe this was the end of the keg.

Tap sample. Poured hazy copper color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid smooth weastcoast hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew

Draught at Chicago Brewing Company. The strongest of the Chicago Brewing beers that I tried and probably the best. Good strong hop aroma without being overpowering. The flavour was similar and while you could taste the resinous hops flavours they weren’t so strong that you knocked you off your seat. Long finish and good creamy mouthfeel.

Draught. Cloudy orange-red. Huge aroma of pine, smells like a Christmas tree! Bitter bite in the taste, but nicely balanced with a bit of malt sweetness. The pine dominates, with some wood and caramel as well. Really enjoyable.
