Apr 18, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber-brown color with a medium thin and creamy light beige head that diminishes quickly. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and nuts. Light body with vaguely sweet malt, nut and light hops flavor. The finish is sweet chocolate malt that does not linger very long. Barely average overall.

Dec 6, 2007 Clear maroon color. Sweet malty, cocoa aroma, with a hint of coffee. Taste is what is expected of browns with a nutty maltiness. Friendly, bland but with a mild light sticky sweetness to it. Decent.
