2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - OCT 16, 2006
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of finely sized off-white colored bubbles that was and left behind a transparent uncarbonated copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty and dough. The thin mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and brown malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 PorterPounder (4612) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2006
On tap at the brewpub in Vegas. Has a slightly murky, light brown appearance with a good sized off-white creamy head. Aroma is slightly nutty. Has a sweet, malty flavor with some subtle chocolate acents and subtle bitter notes polishing off the back end. Decently thick mouthfeel to this one.

Nutty brown ale aroma is quite nice. Got some hops, not sweet. Pretty nice beer, one I could drink again.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 bitbucket (2112) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - APR 22, 2006
Bottled. Dark amber color. Nothing wrong with it all, but nothing special either. Maybe my assessment would jump up a bit if I drank it refrigerator-cold on a sunny summer day rather than drinking it basement-cool on a rainy spring day?

Sampler at the Four Queens Casino Brewpub - Poured a light brown in color with a light head and a small amount of carbonation. Aroma was a mix of mild roasted malt and spicy hops. Flavor mimicked the aroma fairly well. Not strongly flavored, but was slightly sour in the finish. Very drinkable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 barenada (211) - Georgetown, Indiana, USA - DEC 9, 2005
(draft) I’ve rated this a little higher than most brown ales because there was something special about it. I don’t know what, though. There was a slightly spicy aroma and flavor. Whatever it was, it was good.
