Clear very pale light yellow with no foam head. Aroma is light malty, taste is weak, watery malt. Aftertaste us dry, short lasting. (Velp 201304)

Light yellow and clear with a medium head. Smells grassy, a bit musty but still ok. Tastes quite bitter at first, then grassy/spicy, a bit malty. Medium body and refreshing but nothing special.

Bottle in Berlin. As pale as it gets before water. Tiny bubbles. Fres at first, then some tired hops. True to type, some more bitterness would be most welcome.

Pale colour, clear, minimal head which faded fast. Aroma was fairly pronounced Hallertau hop and red cabbage. Tasted red cabbage, malt and some pleasant honey notes. Mouthfull was crisp, smooth and moderately carbonated. Overall it was a balanced, refreshing easy drinker, shame it won’t reach more people.

Half-litre bottle: best before 7th May 2013, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 31st Dec 2012. Brewed by the now newly? named Chiemgauer Brauhaus (same address etc in Rosenheim). Light golden body, clear, bright and clean: the head a full white crown of foaming bubbles sat on top, the head tried to hang around and did so for a short while before becoming a wisp and collar after about a minute. Usual no show of a Helle/lager/pilsner smell: some grains maybe but not really much of anything. Gets my regular score of 3 for a non-smelling Helle. Tastewise it was your typical Helles/pilsner, mid-range hop and malt mix: refreshing but not really flavoursome in any way. OK and pleased I came across it.

A rare beer in my area. The taste in my opinion is a bit to "Pilsener-like" I prefer the other "Chimseer"-beers.

Test vom 7.3.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,10,10,9,10 - 9,80

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is grassy hops, malt and some hay. The flavour is bitter with hoppy and malty notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,5 l. bottle. Clear, light golden colour with a small, white head. Fruity and grainy aroma. Taste is light bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Finishes bitter with grains, some fruits. The bitterness in the finish saves this beer from being totally boring. Otherwise nothing special.

Clear yellow colour with a white head. Grassy hop aroma. Taste is lightly sweet caramel malt with light toast and and dry spicy hop finish.
