COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an unfiltered wheat ale, and "refreshing" is its first and final word. It is light bodied with a tangy citrus character, making it float across the palate without so much as stirring a breeze. The delicate hop character is barely perceptible, not to distract from the clean malt character provided by the wheat, as well as the light puckering bite of the residual yeast.

Smells very light, just a bit of wheat and orange that I squeezed in. Golden in colour, no floaties, not much foam. Light flavour, allows he wheat to show, just a hint of hops. Pretty much what I expected without he cranberry flavour.

On tap at the Yukon mining co. Pours clear and slightly orange with a thick white head. Aroma is very dull and unimpresive with slight notes of banana. Tastes pretty weak. Slighly malty and citrus with notes of sweaty feet. It tastes like my boots smell after a day in the bush. This beer sucks.

A pretty decent wheat beer, but with no outstanding characteristics. Nose of mild hops and toast, Mild carbonation, thin palate and slightly bitter finish. Light body. It would be a good summertime brew but nothing to write home about.

Sample, draught, drank on site on August 2 2008; eye: copper, no effervescence, clear, white head that disappears completely; nose: malt, corn; mouth: malt, corn, grainy, finale in malt with a hint of caramel, mot much carbonation, medium body, creamy texture; overall: so?

Another one of those ’nothing special’ summer wheats.
