Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. An orange coloured beer with a mildly hoppy fruity aroma. The taste has some lemony citric hop lingering in the background. Not what I’d have expected from Bramling Cross but then I didn’t know that’s what the beer contained at the time.

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, 18th ’Coming of Age’ Beer Festival 29-05-10 Pours gold, this is clear, clean good looking beer. Some soapy hoppiness at first, this then gives way to a more lighter sweet citrus flavour. Its a bit thin but in fairness after a 6.6% beer it was always going to be thus. Enjoyable and drank well for the abv. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Two pint take away jug from the brewery. Golden coloured bitter with a thin white head, good condition. Hoppy aroma with a touch of antiseptic wipe. Fairly mild flavoured, not much malt character but a surprisingly bitter finish. A very drinkable session ale.

Cask (gravity dispense), at GBBF, August 2005. A mid gold coloured ale. The aroma has more fruity malt than expected, with some grassy hop too. On the palate its dry and light, with some citric notes. Quite delicate. A reasonable enough quaffer but doesn’t pack enough punch to score higher.
