3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pale and hazy beer has a frothy head. Soapy coriander and cardamom dominate are overwhelming in the aroma. Some fresh, orangey fruitiness on the background. Dryish maltness but there is lots of sugary sweetness. Quite alcoholic. Soapy/bitter spiciness highlights alcoholic sensation. Yeasty notes sre quite pleasant, though. Frothy mouthfeel. Unbalanced disappointment it is.

Bottle from Beerstore, Thessaloniki: pale golden colour with medium white head. Aroma of fruits, yeast, caramel, apple and grapes. Taste more of caramel, apple and yeast. Sweet, medium carbonation, long aftertaste. Very good anniversary beer!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale yellow with a lacing white head. The aroma is clean with Belgian spice, malt and some booze. The flavor is similar with just enough hops to balance the sweetness. An excellent strong. No trace of the booze in the taste, just a nice warming on the throat. They should put this out every year as a Noel beer.

Thanks to Moll for sharing. Served in a Chimay goblet. Full body than the normal tripel. Spice in the nose and back end of the flavor. Quite dry. Doesn’t all come together.

75cl Bottle at UDRBM, from Sligro, thanks Joost! Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is rather sweet, yeast, ripe fruits, lots of fruity esters, banana mostly, spicy, lavender. Flavour of banana, fruity esters, alcohol, spices, bittersweet hot alcholic finish. Medium-bodied. Expected a bit more.

Bottle in T.O. And again Calgary. Golden Belgian almost too smooth to be respected. Like drinking French toast. Smooth golden biscuity brew with nice alcohol level.
