uhre (173), Denmark Jun 24, 2008 The aroma has caramel, malt, yeast and spicies. The flavor is very thin with malt, yeast spicies a bit of dark fruit and caramel. beastiefan2k (1039), Hicksville, New York, USA Jun 5, 2008 2008 bottle, pours a dark muted golden color. Aroma is lightly spicy, light hay, just light all around and a bit saison-like in general. Also, some very faint burnt orange malts. Taste is a bit "blah" with a seltzer and water-y fruit finish. Very light and definitely easy drinking. I was not impressed but I could definitely drink a whole lot of this because it was very light without being overall y watered down. 33cL bottle, Southampton snifter. notalush (1951), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA Jun 2, 2008 Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing - cloudy straw-colored beer - smells of light grain, pale malt, tangerine, melon, light spices - quite pleasant in the nose - mild doughy character in the flavor, with subtle earthy tones, spices, and a faint wheat flavor - a wee bit of citrus arrives late - subdued, but quite nice. mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 19, 2008 [1138-20080229] 330mL. Lightly spicy flower petal aroma with some mellowed wheat. Clear, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Mild golden toasted malt flavour with some wheat throughout. Medium body. Nice, repeatable, mild.
