3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy pale amber body with a very long-lived head that stays a decent layer until the glass is finished. Good lacing. Strong aroma of Belgian yeast, pale malts, spices, citrus (especially lemon) and some slightly disturbing notes of sweat and cheese in the back. The two latter notes are not to be found in the pretty strong flavour, but apart from that it follows the aroma. Light sweet taste and very little bitterness. This beer is light-bodied, dry and aggressively carbonated. Fair enough, but the monks should stick to their higher ABV brews.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330 ml of this Trappist poured into its proprietary Cup. Liquid Gold dark and average turbidity body. Your cream is white, dense, very consistent and very permanent in tulip Trappist. Good lacing.
The aroma is delicious and brings orange zest, lemon, pineapple, coriander, light yeast, white peppers and powerful Flower Herbs. Incidentally, the aroma has a peculiar sweetness reminiscent of floral nectar. A delight.
Taste begins with a sweet malt and will embodying to acquire a floral and fruity taste in the middle dating back some flavors of cereals, nuts, pear. Closing the flavor comes a moderate herbal bitter with a strong presence of lemon grass. All this is properly seasoned with beautiful condiments.
The afertaste is bitter slightly spicy, dry mouth and prepares for the next sip.
Beer very well balanced with an excellent malt being the central pillar of this beautiful drink that supports wisely the rich flavors citrus and floral.
A beer with strong drinkability with mild and respectable body.
A great drink!
