2016/10/01 - Pours a hazy deep straw colour with a soapy white head that quickly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is honey, yeast, apple, crackers, floral notes, spices, clove, light citrus and a hint of soap. Taste is cracker, yeast, hints of crisp apple and clove with floral and herbal notes. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with lightly biting carbonation and a drying, lightly herbal finish. Light, crisp and surprisingly flavorful for the ABV. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear golden with a big white head and nice lacing. Strong herbal and spicy aroma with a good dose of citrus, some floral and honey notes, hints of soapiness. Light well balanced taste, malty notes on top followed close by carbonation sharpness and light spicy bitterness. Light body, medium to high carbonation, slightly milky texture. Light, aromatic and refreshing, but a bit too herbal/soapy to me.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale gold with a very slight yeast swirl at the end and a one finger white head that thins to a thick, bubbly film. Aroma has great notes of spice, clove, citrus, slight candy sugar and bubble gum, and Belgian yeast. Very nice. Taste is balanced well with notes of spice, Belgian yeast, citrus, faint bread, and a short, spicy ending. Medium body with a high carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a bone dry finish. Overall a nice, lighter, highly carbonated golden Belgian. Light a lighter version of their triple.

Pours hazy straw color with a tight, pillowy, 1-finger white head. Aromas of earth and hay with a note of spice, maybe coriander. Body is on the lighter side of medium, with a dry finish. Flavors of grass and earth with a touch of lemon. Mild spice note as it warms.

Clove, crisp apple, light pepper & spices. Lively carbonation, medium body, light phenols. Coriander, subtle bitterness, dry & spicy. This is the model for all "light" beers - its only 4.8% but packs more flavor than many others well above that ABV (bottle BB 12/2017)

Flesje tht 2015 thuis gedronken in mei 2016. Goudkleurig, helder bier met romige, stevige schuimkraag. Hoppig en fruitig aroma, de smaak is bitter hoppig en citrusachtig met een hint van honing. Licht sprankelend in de mond. Smaak vloeit licht uit.

Really nice round yet crisp ale, has a touch of lager ’edge’ unexpected but still a gorgeous apple fruit and creamy texture, pale malt, honey. Spicy phenolics are round, barely clovey/peppery, sweet and subtle. A staple at the Abbaye de Scourmont and rarely sold elsewhere, this is a nice fresh bottle from the LCBO.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2016 330 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy light golden with a full, fluffy white head. Aroma: Spicy phenols, celery leaf, very light fruity esters, a bit of bright herbals, minerals. Palate: Medium-light body, very full carbonation. Flav.: Herbal, slightly fruity and lightly spicy, celery seed, a touch of floral honey, quite interesting for a “light” Belgian; dry with low to moderate bitterness and a drying, grainy malt and lightly fruity/spicy finish.

Quite an interesting brew. Almost a quaffable beer...

Pours a nice two-fingered head, lots of carbonation, taste is banana, cracker, lemon, bread, yeast and water, aftertaste is minimal. A great session Belgian, perfect for the summer.
