Aroma of citrus fruits, yeast, coriander. Flavour is likewise spicy, fruity and yeasty. Slightly watery and thin, but very refreshing and sessionable.

- From Vinmonopolet Trondheim - Pours with lively carbonation. Large white head and a nice golden color to it. On the nose i get hay, spices, bubblegum, cloves with a slight lemony-note to it. Taste of dry, nice malt, spices and candi sugar. Perfectly balanced with a nice fenolic finish to it. Suprisingly good and complex. Will definately purchase again!

Bruingele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, zoetig, kruiden. Smaakt fris, fruitig, iets zurig.

---Rated via Beer Buddy by Sátyro

From 330 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with a rocky white head and fairly lively but fine carbonation. Aromas of lemon, banana, spice and apricot. Taste is gentle fruit - apples and apricots - at the front before a tart lemon note in the mid-palate. Falls away fairly quickly to a clean, gently fruity finish. More light fruit and spice in the aftertaste. Restrained but refined.

From a 330ml bottle on 9/5/2014. Pours a dirty dark yellow with a huge white head. The aroma features some light spices and a touch of yeast. The flavours are all quite subtle - a bready malt background with some light sweet fruit (particularly apricot), light spice, and a gentle but lingering bitterness. Has a light body and lively carbonation. Quite pleasant but not overly exciting.

Holy shit, just walked in to La Cave à Bulles and got this immediately shoved in my face. Don’t my if I do. Small head but interesting light brown appeal. Like it’s hiding something. While being very fruity at first, it’s actually Moderately spicy later, quite layered and with a biscuity malt base. Taste isn’t anywhere as sweet as expected (or feared perhaps), although this older bottle might be one reason. In fact a bit watery. However, I enjoy it a lot as it brings quite an unique layered approach to both taste and aroma. That’s much to Simon and his guest of which I already forgot his name. Sorry!

Draught@Potaupré source, Chimay 01V14. Very much the lighter-bodied mineral sister of the more bodacious Rouge, with higher effervescence, aquateous table beer body and that same honey & nuts malt/yeast quality rounded by spicy hops. Not sure the bottled version that pops up in bars once in a while needs seeking out.

Bottle@home first post CBC 2014. Haze dark yellow. Two finger great foam. Rubber nutty yeasty notes. Very gentle smooth dry taste. Not much bitterness to begin with. Simpel light and delicate.
