2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bleekgoud, nevelig bier met kleine witte schuimkraag. Aroma is sinaasappel, gist, hop. Droge nasmaak, licht bitter. Fris biertje, maar weinig body en maakt ook weinig indruk.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold with an active white head. Aroma of grains and spice. Med + body, at least. Flavor is "grain", yeast and mild spices. Flavor is mild, but distinctive. Actually making me think of some sort of TexMex tortilla or chip. Liking it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours cloudy gold, light white head. Aroma is sour grain, slight banana, not getting a lot of herbs but maybe grass? Taste is light malt, banana, citrus, slightly sour or carbonated acid. Mouthfeel is light and fizzy. Reminds me of a saison almost. Okay, but dissimilar than the other beers from the brewery.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours murky golden with a foamy white head and a yeasty banana aroma. There is a thin pale malt flavor with some fruity esters and a mild spice finish. A pretty good Belgian session ale, though not readily available.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Slight gusher, massive white head, hazy light golden beer. Some butter and milk up front, with dough, lots of spicy yeast, some banana and very nice complex herbal qualities that I can't really place. Medium bodied. Nice stuff, except the opening of the bottle and the first sip I quite enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle. Hazy honey gold color. Small creamy white head. Faint yeasty malt nose. Dry citrusy malt flavor. Hints of lemon peel and cloves. Very light body and overall flavor. Dry mid taste with notes of cardamom and biscuit malt. Clean and crisp with a long dry finish. Pleasant, but I prefer the the other standards of Chimay.

Sabor semelhante ao aroma, mas mais adocicado.
Corpo médio/alto. Carbonatação significante, baixo amargor.
Aftertaste doce e seco.
Cerveja bem interessante.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 11.2 fl oz, as "Dorée". Nose is very sweet and very turned up coriander/orange peel, strong lemon, wheat, has some champagne character. Pours pale golden with very abundant carbonation and a bright white, soapy head. Taste in-mouth surprisingly dry, joyously effervescent with no alcohol, slight yeast, lots of orange and lemon, faint candy background, clean malt, heavy spice just a hair below soup. Very faint crackery touch in the finish, quenching medium-full body. Very, very refreshing overall, but I’m a little bummed that it’s essentially a common witbier using house yeast instead of, I dunno, something more like a blonde enkel (or patersbier in the sense of smaller gravity Blue)?
