I got this as a gift from my regular beer shop (Berendsen, Enschede). Excellent and apparently hard to get beer. Cloudy and pale yellow with slightly more then enough carbonation. Reminded me a little of a very nice Weizen and of Hoegaardse Das, with hints of orange, banana and coriander. Very nice beer indeed!

Bottle. gold color with medium white head. Aroma reminds me on lighter version of white chimay: light coriander, orange, yeast notes with some even lighter wheat and hay notes. Flavor profile is mostly the same. Light body. Balanced. Overall: watery version of chimay blache.

Ogólnie lekkie, przyjemne piwko w smacznych owocowych klimatach. Całkiem niezły belgian ale.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2016 Bottle at beerbistro. Very pale golden yellow with finely bubbled white head. Send like soap; I love Chimay, but it really does smell like soap with the characteristic Chimay yeast smell. Tastes a bit like soap with some grass and lemon. It?s good, but probably my least favourite Chimay.

White lasting head with a straw coloured body. Bready nose topped with cinnamon and cloves. Light but smooth body with big clove flavour and much lighter than most Belgium ales. An easy drinking option when you want a Belgium beer. Rated by BrewTom

Yay! Ratings!! 330ml bottle from LCBO. Pale gold, incredibly quick-diminishing fizzy white head. Faint fruity aroma, a little burnt, weirdly - like a light pils with a Belgian yeast profile? Taste is very pleasant - no burnt grass, just like a watered down sweet tripel - a nice drinker. Light body, stinging but diminishing carbonation, quick fruity finish - nice enough, if unmemorable.

Aroma - orange peel, Belgian yeast, coriander, and soft wheat. Appearance - the body is a cloudy sunglow yellow, with good nucleation. Head is white and around 1/3" and settles into a nice 1/8" of foam. Foam drapes throughtout nicely. Taste - has a nice spiced wheat, some coriander, orange peel, hops are quite, and the yeast not overly noticeable, but distinct Belgian variety. Exceptional balance. Extremely, sessionable. Palate - body is between light and medium, texture is soft, carbonation is average, finish is quick and dry.

Bottled from LCBO. Hazy yellow, huge white head. The aroma is hoppy with a lot of flowers. The taste is magical - fresh breath of perfume, with a very strong finish. It tastes like a 8% blonde.

Fresh, grass, floral and fruity scent. Grass, floral and fermented taste. OK bitterness which fills the top and front of the mouth a weak moment. OK beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
