Wow, what an aroma on this one!!! Tooty fruity was this thing good!!! Very appealing golden brownish colour with quite a lot of head may i add. Good strong taste grabs the tongue, but not as strong as to make you cringe. A good aftertaste is left after a nice chimay white...very impressive indeed.

Pours a cloudy deep orange/gold with off-white head. Aroma is great, fruit, citrus, floral, barn. Flavor is just as good, malt, barnyard, citrus, nice little hoppy bitter. Mouthfeel is pretty solid with crisp carbonation. Overall, pretty good stuff!

Jan 7, 2009 Fluffy, off-white head. Mildly cloudy, orange/amber hue. Looks wonderful in the Chimay chalice.
A honey sweetness in the nose,some citrus and bubblegum. Some malt and herbs in the aroma.
Flavours are complex, with citrus zest and a resiny hops that give it gorgeous flavour and a nice bitterness. Some spicy clove in the flavours, and the alcohol presents itself well. Amazing.

Jan 6, 2009 Bottle Pours a cloudy amber with a big creamy white head. Awesome aromas of spicy carmel and lightly fruity hops. Medium body and a great mouthfeel. My mouth never wanted this beer to end. Great flavors and vey smooth. This is a great beer.

Jan 4, 2009 Corked 750ml bottle into Trappist glass. A hazy orange ale with an ample dense off white head. Generous aromas of spicy hops and roasted nutty caramel malts with a hint of oranges. Medium-full mouthfeel with tastes of honey malts, citrus and nutmeg at first but finishes with a resinous dry bitterness that lingers. Very well integrated flavours and dangerously seductive given the ABV. Top class.
