Mar 15, 2009 341ml bottle in trappist glass. Poured hazy orange with medium white head. Lots of carbonation on the glass. Aroma is malty, spicy and wheat. Small bitterness on the finish which may be the only downside. Rating #68

Mar 14, 2009 Very smooth with a bubbly mouthfeel and it looks fantastic with a large white head. Taste is not as complex as blue or even red, but it is still a great triple.

Mar 9, 2009 Bottle. Apperance; dark yello, hazy with a big white head. Aroma; Fruits, with a flavor with fruits and yeast. Good, but not like the Bleue.

Mar 7, 2009 Pours golden brown with a big head. Smell yeasty to me. 8% and you can’t tell. Smooth for a strong beer. Not too much flavor in my opinion. Slight caramel taste. Glad I tried it, but won’t buy it for some time.

Mar 4, 2009 Hazy golden in color.... Slightly fruity aroma... Slight bitterness in the flavor, yet smooth and drinkable like a wheat beer... Nice contrast from the brown sugar and sweetness of the Chimay blue... Still prefer the blue though...

Mar 3, 2009 11.20oz bottle. This is my least favorite of the three Chimay styles I have tasted. It is a good example of a Belgian Tripel though I am not really that into Belgian Triples so I am not rating it as high as it probably should be. Pours a cloudy golden color. Yeasty and bready with hints of pepper.
