TheRaven (6), Santa Clarita, California, USA does not count Jan 23, 2009 This fine beer is what a Belgium Ale should be. Spiced aromatics of Corriander, orange and more, which is slightly greater than the malts and hops. The flavor is clean with a well balanced hop bitters that lingers. Overall the beer is dry, light and very drinkable. In other words, give me another. Cheers fdr137 (32), , New York, USA Jan 21, 2009 12 oz bottle. A golden haze, maybe a burnt orange in color. A nice white head. Aroma is spice, banana, some yeastiness and hops. More banana upfront on the taste, then a fruity spice, some yeast, giving way to a nice hoppy finish. A little bit of the aftertaste is a fruit, more banana. Thylacine (237), Tasmania, Australia Jan 20, 2009 Updated: Jan 21, 2009Bottle - Hazy gold with a lasting, frothy off white head and good lacing. Low to medium carbonartion. Medium body. Wheaty with banana, cloves and a touch of alcohol. Slightly dry finish with a medium bitterness. MPosey (21), , Georgia, USA Jan 20, 2009 A nice beer. Pours with little head. It has an intense bitter start which fades to a slightly sweeter finish. Almost sparkly with carbination. Grossecaisse (108), France Jan 20, 2009
Dervock (178), Emu plains, Australia Jan 20, 2009 This beer has a light golden apperance with a fiarly light fruity aroma.
When poured a large head builds up and clings to the glass on the way down.
The initial taste is quite mild but the aftertaste leaves you with an orangey dryness. You can definately tell from the taste that this is a beer with a reasonable alchol content. begbie100 (161), Oulu, Finland Jan 18, 2009 Light yellow-brown color, cloudy. Medium white head. Aromas of chalk, dough, citrus and banana. Flavours of chalk, citrus and banana, some floral tones and some alcohol. Sour and bitter. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jan 18, 2009 Pours a very light golden blond. Hazy golden orange in the glass. Thick, white head. Very fruity aroma....raisins and white grapes with a subtle hint of plums. Flavor is very similar...with a hint of hops and yeast. Overall a very drinkable tripel.
