Tripplebrew (486), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Jan 25, 2008 Poured a very hazy honey-yellow with what looked like pulp. White head. Aroma is light but there are undertones of sugar and yeast. Flavor is definitely yeast with sugared lemon. Body is fairly light with just a bit of carbonation. Definitely a good tripel. swanmann (304), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jan 25, 2008 The bottle poured murky color like unfiltered apple juice, with off white, slightly peach tinted head. Pretty complete lacing. The aroma is sweet and yeasty, like a syrupy citrus fruit, like a mango danish. Absolutely delicious. Dry with a bitter bite like aspirin. Great balance.

A very agreeable, mild, but noticeable finish encourages patient enjoyment of this light wonder. The taste is quite balanced, without being overwhelmed by bitterness or any one ingredient--you can almost forget that this is an 8% alcohol brew.
