Commercial Description:
Chimay Blanche (White), with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, wheat starch, sugar, hop extract and yeast. See Protz and John White

Beautiful bronze color with a white frothy head and HUGE amounts of gasses. Smells of yeast, honey and fruit. Crisp. soft and veryhoppy with a warming and spicy with a very hoppy longlasting dry finish.

1pt 9.4 oz’er in trappist glass, saffron hue with slightly frothy creamy lasting white head, excellent lacing, hazy, bananas and clove, lightly carbonated texture, slightly bitter, slightly dried fruit/grape tang, a bit straw malt and soapy yeasty, not as hoppy as description. After skunky bitterness lasts in hind of mount.

Had this at the Yardhouse. Very aromatic triple. Lots of yeast and fruit on the nose. Loved how this one tasted of fruits and bread dough. Very good.

330ml bottle in quart jar. Huge, diminishing white meringue head on hazy, light honey-colored body. Aroma is yeast, grapes, spices, pears, and vanilla bubblegum. Taste is initially spicy gum, finish is dry and clean. Aftertaste is dry and fruity - grapes, pears, faint orange/vanilla - with slight hop and alcohol tingle; a bit of dry marshmallow lingers as well. Very smooth, with medium-light body.

11.2 oz bottle, pours hazy golden color with visible sediment floating near the bottle of the bottle. Bottle was chilled, but a large, fluffy head still formed. One word I can use to describe this beer: smooth! Tastes like what Stone Vertical epic ’07 tried to taste like. Fruity/spiced aroma, complex taste of fruits, spice, and slight alcohol upon warming. Goes down very smoothly (too smoothly?). Probably my favorite of the three Chimay’s

From the 1 pt. 9.4 fl. oz. corked bottle marked L08-751. The pour is a cloudy copper-amber with a good topping of foamy off-white head and plenty of lacing. The aroma is a breathtaking yeasty, hoppy and bready scent that reminds me I am drinking an authentic Belgian Abbey Ale. The mouthfeel is a bolder texture and creamy on the tongue. The taste is just tart enough to notice but not enough to pucker up. A topnotch brew.
