bottle. large off-white cramy/rocky head (almost completely lastlng) with great lacing into light brown body with dediments aflowin’. aromas of candied sugar, lemongrass, and yeast. flavor is sweet throughout with a touch of bitter at beginning. great hop/yeast/malt balance. great mouthfeel (very soft). short to moderate finish duration. above average carbonation. Excellent.

Jul 26, 2008 Nice golden color with a great white head. You can smell the hops and a kind of dark citrus aroma well before glass reaches your nose. Feel great in the mouth and flavor compliments aroma. Finishes with a touch of bitter.

Jul 22, 2008 this is the first triple i’ve ever had. Poured darker than i expected, a dark cloudy gold with shit floating around. the head was beautiful and rocky and white. flavor was very fruity with a medium body. moderately bitter with dried fruits in the finish and flavor. very good but nothing life changing going on.

Jul 17, 2008 Had a much fresher version than I have been drinking recently and it really showed in aroma. Real hop aroma, some resin and citrus combined with a distinct clove character. Lots of hops race around the palate, oranges and spices and a full malt body all interplay on the path to a dryness and bitterness that last. Perhaps with some black pudding or soused mackerel? I have always had a fondness for the slightly hazy golden tinged orange colour. It looks great and strangely perfect in a Chimay glass.
