Chimay Tripel, with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer’s flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden, with an appealing thick airy head. A rather dark aroma with roasted malts and dried fruits. Flavour is roasted malts and orange peel, before it ends off with a tremendous and everlasting grapefruity finish.

This a wonderful beer. Whether chilled or at ambient temperature. The first taste is a mild hop followed by a lovely fruit. This is truly a world class beer.

pours a cloudy dark golden color with a thick white head. The aroma is grassy, fruity, and yeast. The flavor is very sweet of wheat, fruit, grass, and yeast i get a small amount of raisins in the taste too. The overall palate of this is pretty nice, for being 8 percent there is little hint of the alcohol, and is very smooth.

From the bottle pours a beautiful, hazy, golden brew with a thick, rich head. Medium bodied with aromas and flavors of citrus, malt, and hops. The malt comes at you up front and the hops finish up.

Bottle. Hazy golden with creamy head and good retention. Smells lemony and biscuity. Tastes sweet then lightly dry. Warming- almost reminiscent of brandy- a hint of spice on the finish.
