Carefully selected roasted and caramel malts, combined with beech wood smoked malt, give this Porter a strong and unique character. Bottled unfiltered and unpasteurised in very limited quantity. (A single batch for 2013.)

Bottle. Nice brown head, but didn’t last too much. Strong (greek!) coffee and smoke aroma. Same at the powerful taste. Like the long lasting bitter finish.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of smoke and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of dust, dried fruits, smoke, ash, and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.

My first (rated) beer from Greece! Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, fruits, light smoke and bread. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with chocolate, nuts, slight smoke and fruits. Nice Smoker-Porter.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, beige head. Sweet, chocolate roast aroma. Medium body, lowish carbonation, chocolate roast, ashes and only a whiff of smoke, a little manure. Decent. 130914

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2014 (bottle from the brewer himself; BBD: 24th of January 2015; L131113 2) Pours black with one-finger toffee head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is a very harmonic blend of toasted malt and smoke with some coffee-like notes. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium yet relatively full body. Flavour is in my opinion resemblant of an Irish porter, very harmonic, dry, smoked and full with only a slight ascerbicity in the finish. Easily the best dark, Greek beer I ever tasted. Highly recommended. Girlfriend says: "It’s a bit more acidic in the bottle but still good."
