The nose is of honey and raw nuts. It’s bitter grassy in the mouth. It has quite an intense finish that I’m not super sold on.

Another kick ass little sake cup from these folks great design and concept. Sake is pretty much urine coloration. Nose is some melon, yeast, and hooch. Tastes of alcohol warming, some rice milk, florals, honey dew, cocunut. Pleasant but a bit harsh.

Sake Cup Bottle shared with during some Twin Peaks. Pours a clear body with a light tint and no head or lacing. Aroma is rice, sweet apples, melons and yeast. Mouthfeel is a bit boozy, with notes of sweet melon and yeast in the back. A touch too hot for my personal preference, but still a good sake.

Cool little cup. Pours clear with the faintest tinge of yellow. Spicy sake yeast, warm melon and a soft bit of fruit. Slightly oily mouthfeel, smooth rice leading into a bit of isopropyl. Finishes warm and slightly boozy with some lingering koji and yeast.

180mL pop top cup/bottle, $7.99 at Astor Wines. Honeydew/melon nose with some light boiled rice in the backend. Off-clear with a slight yellow tinge, good legs. Flavor continues fairly soft and delicate with the aforementioned flavors, and turns to a bit of granny smith type element, but isn’t sour at all. This follows into a slightly warming alcohol finish, which was semi-dry. Low bitterness. After a few seconds the alcohol really heats up down in my stomach and in my lower esophagus. Medium body. Not too bad--fairly subtle, actually.
