12oz bottle 11/25/11 (Jack’s Mountain Home)-42° in cocktail glass-Pours a hazy medium to dark golden with no head. Aroma of malt, grains, and hay. Taste of malt, grains, hay, hops, and sweetness. This light to medium bodied brew is an ok brew. Not one of my favorite styles but still rather tasty.

A pretty malty grassy aroma, especially for a kolsch? Looks more like an unfiltered hefe. A strange flavor, way too much maltiness for a kolsch to me.

bottle, hazy golden with big white foam, aroma is musty lemon with a tart lemony flavor, some bitter graininess, some sour , not really kolsch like but a nice beer

Cloudy golden-amber pour into thick white fizzy head that quickly dissipates into melting lacing and a pool of foamy bubbles atop hazy sediment. Aroma of yeasty biscuit, malty citrus, and toasted nuts. Initial flavor of malt and nuts that slowly fades into a lemony finish.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 6/21/11

Aroma: The nose is kind of a mess, some bread/yeast, earth, grass, lemon, and a touch of funk
Appearance: It pours a fairly cloudy golden color with a long lasting frothy white head and decent lace
Flavor: The taste is a little less muddled than the nose, medium sweet with mild sour notes
Palate: This is light-medium bodied, the mouthfeel is fairly soft, and it has a somwhat astringent finish
Overall Impression: I wasn’t particularly impressed by this one, but I didn’t hate it either, it was just sort of muddled and flawed. That pretty much covers it in a nutshell.

Nett! 11/10/10/9/7/9

Thanks to a generous trader for sending this my way. Served in a pilsner glass. Pours a moderate golden color with quite a bit of haze. Way too hazy and dark. Slight white head with a tad bit of lacing. The nose brings forward quite a bit of bready malt and some general yeastiness. No fruitiness or hops to speak of. Pretty tame. The taste brings a touch of sweetness to match the bready malt, but there’s not much else going on. Finish is pretty bland. Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Just eh. 12 oz twist off. I have no idea what the meaning of this beer is as i hate baseball and didn’t read the label. Bought it so I could try a brew from Oklahoma. It pours a clear gold with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates. It doesn’t smell like a koelsch but rather a Belgian pale, a weak one, with subtle frutiness and malt The flavor has a dirty malt taste and that is about it, light hops, not much form the yeast. It is basic, good for people to get into craft beer, I suppose they marketed it for baseball fans and not necessarily craft beer drinkers. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 12-02-2010 03:00:24

Murky golden yellow with a medium creamy off-white head leaving sheets of lace. Aroma of grassy hops, stale pale malt, grains and a bit of corn. Mild taste of dusty malt, stale socks, grassy hops, light lemon and a very mild bitter finish. Goes down pretty easy but subpar in most aspects.

A seasonal from Choc, Spahnie 363 is an unfiltered ale. Pours a hazy pale, very frothy head that doesn’t stick around long. Not much flavor, not much body, not much of anything really, just a malty pale.
