COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A two-fold experiment: a blend of two seperate beers of different recipes. The first beer is a blonde, brewed with domestic 2-row and a small percentage of Belgian caramel malts and cascade hops. The second beer is an amber of sorts, brewed almost entirely with malt imported from Weyermann, Meussdoerffer and Dingemans, hopped with German Perle. Both beers were fermented with our house wit beer yeast, and bottle conditioned. Pour carefully for clarity and enjoy. Brewmasters Signature Series beer #3.

Amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. Dry and slightly tart varamel and fruit flavour. Very one-dimensional American character except for the tartness which didn’t seem appropriate for the beer

Bottle. Pours a clear copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma malt, caramel and notes of acidity. The flavor is malt, caramel and acidity. The palate is acidity. Overall this beer lacks balance.

I loved reading reviews of this one. This is a belgian and people love the sour notes? Really? This thing infected. Period. I rated it based on its infectedness. Is that a word?

WTF? This one is far under-rated. Clear reddish golden with a fizzy white head. Very nice floral and slightly sour green apple aroma with hints of caramel. Bright and crisp palate. Tastes of caramel, subtle vanilla, tart sour apple with a good strong white wine character from the aroma to the finish (I can’t believe this isn’t barrel aged); this is really an outstanding brew.

Tasting at crizay’s house
Perhaps I got a bad bottle but this ’Signature’ amber was less than overwhelming. I don’t mind trying beers from a part of the country that I rarely experience however. On the other hand I doubt Oklahoma is very high on my list of places to visit for a beer vacation. This one just leaves a bad taste in the mouth and not just because of the tartness.

Aroma / Appearance - Transparent amber liquid flowed into my glass lightly as if this was only slightly thicker than water. Lively carbonation unleashed caramel and light malts but overall this was kind of bland and forgettable.

Flavor / Palate - Caramel glazed cream puffs presented a briefly enjoyable moment before a sour tartness dominated the rest of the taste. The wet finish was solid but that yeasty bite would not go away. I feel as if this bottle was somehow flawed. Even so I cannot imagine that a fresh sample would change my rating too much. At best this is an average amber/Belgian ale. At worst it is an infected mess.

A very interesting and intriguing brew.. pours a medium brown, light but firm foam .. if intentional, has a wonderful slight tartness to it, almost like cherry skins .. light chocolate as well.. . would love to try fresh on tap to get the whole story .. . all i need is 3 buckets extra crispy and 4 gravy packets...
