Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a foamy, off-white head and a hazy golden orange body. Aroma of corn, buttered toast, honey, grain, light berries and a banana dessert covered with a bitter butterscotch. A touch of rotten apple as well. Taste is caramel, buttered toast and fruit compote. Lightly fizzy mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a pinkish color with white fizzy head. Aroma of citrus, apples. Flavor has a little sweetness, faint fruit, and some malt. Light body, fizzy carbonation. It’s ok.

Unknown abv, it certainly is above 6% and could be in the high 7% plus. Large off-white foamy head on medium yellow body. Some lace. Malty, and lightly spicey aroma, pleasant. Very easy mouthfeel and drinkable. I have had better of the style, yet still a better than average beer.

Slightly sweet aroma, hints of spice, and a touch of green apple tartness. Pours a clear amber with a cap of tight white head. Touch of tartness, sweeter then I expected. Very drinkable, but nothing extraordinary.

On tap poured a hazy orange with a small lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel, spice and honey. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of spice, straw, light carmel and light honey with a smooth dry lingering spice finish.

Pours a beautiful, deep amber with a head of white that leaves intricate lacing around the glass. Aroma is bit off, with a weird hint of tangerine nut wine- or something like that. Old-tasting blend of musty air, wood, and old bourbon with Sprite. Average mouthfeel. Not bad, but I don’t think I’ll drink more of this.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Hazy copper-orange, thin off-white head. Moderate sweet Belgain ale aroma, slight caramel notes. Sweet grain taste, mild caramel, light spice. Decent, no real distinct flavors aside from malt sweetness.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of grass, fresh malt and a good dose of hops. Medium-bodied; Sharp fresh grassy hops taste strong along with some malt and a bit of perfumey scents. Aftertaste shows a bit more complexity with coriander seed and a bit of spice, but mostly malt. Overall, a good strong flavoured beer that shows well, especially in the summer! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Sam’s Warehouse Liquor in Oklahoma City, OK on 13-February-2008, drunk after my first round of golf ever on 07-August-2008.

Having had a few Krebs’ beers (including Texas Sux), this one surprised me. Not great, but nice. It had a hazy amber body with a quickly fading, slender head. The aroma was yeasty, had some toffee, a quiet spiciness, citrus fruit, and dried grasses. The is a bit sweeter than the nose promised, seems like a dollop of honey was added, and there’s a light sourness near the finish. Decent.
