Robust aroma is quite hoppy with a citrus undertone that is equal parts grapefruit and Mandarin orange. Pours a nice clear golden with a fairly thick and rather persistent ivory head that "pillows" just a bit. Hoppy flavor has a malty and slightly sweet undertone, plus more than a hint of citrus. Is this a "regular" pale ale or an IPA? Smooth, firm texture has quite a bit of fizz and sass, leaving a hoppy and fruity finish. I look forward to trying more brews from Petes/Krebs. Viva Oklahoma!

Bottle. Pours clear butterscotch with a medium white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving good lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel, perfume, oranges. Flavor is light sweet and light bitter, perfumy, floral, orange blossoms - very different and unexpected. Light body, high carbonation. Points for novelty, but in the end it did not come together for me.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a solid 3 fingers of thick white head. Aroma of citrus and spruce. Taste is heavily bitter. Citrus at first, then dominated by pine and grapefruit. Full bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, very good. Just wish I had a couple more bottles. I’ll definitely be looking for more from these guys.

Pours a mostly clear deep amber color with large foamy, rocky off white head. Big danky and earthy hop aroma, pale malt, caramel malt notes. More caramel malt character in the flavor, semisweet, hops present more earthy and danky, mild bitterness in the finish.

Good retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus, pine and chocolate. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel and pine. Bitter/piney aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler Shop - on tap. My first rating of an Oklahoman beer - only two states left!Bright light gold pour, bubbly white head, decent lacing. Light spruce in the aroma, perhaps a touch of mint. Crisp refreshing flavor with some light citrus bitter notes, a touch of pear fruitiness, just a hint of mint. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Enjoyed this while walking around the store picking out my take homes.

I don’t know where this one came from, but it was in a bottle! For my first Oklahoma beer, this one was milder than most Pales, but still had a refreshing, citrusy bite and a warm finish that was nice and quaffable.

12 oz. bottle pours a couldy golden orange with an average off-white head and some thin lacing. Aroma is full of grapefruit and pine resin with some grass. Taste is bitter with just enough caramel sweetness in the middle before a dry finish. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel and active carbonation. A solid pale ale I’d try again.
