beerbill (1243), Laurel, New York, USA Aug 13, 2008 Its getting towards the end of the summer, and I just finished attending a festival over the weekend where it seemed every other beer I drank was a wheat beer of some sort. I’m ready for a good pumpkin ale or an oktoberfest at this point. So tonight for dinner, what do I do? I crack open another wheat. To my surprise, I found myself liking this one despite my current attitude towards them. Pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a moderate-thin white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left a few spots of lace. Lemon and wax beans in the aroma. A bit odd, the wax beans that is, but not offensive. The flavor is quite nice actually with lemon, candied lemon peel, and wheat. Crisp, refreshing and enjoyable. dchmela (686), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2008 Thanks to Ian for the Okie beer. Cloudy light amber pour with thin white head. Sweet malty wheaty, candy aroma. Taste is wheat and malt, just a little sweetness. Very easy drinking. agillespie81 (100), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 26, 2008 Light golden color......extremely hazy, to the point of being opaque. Fluffy head, though it fades a tad quick. Very mild wheat malt aroma. Slight wheat flavor in the front, with a few noticeable hints of citrus......mouthfeel is slightly crisp. Taste of citrus subtly continues in the back, with a very heavy influx of spice......finishes with a slight tang. Johnroy (29), USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours light/cloudy with the typical belgian fragrance to it. Decent beer, refreshing, light, good during summer. pineypower (855), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Jul 20, 2008 Pours out a hazy yellowish slightly orange tinged color with a small to moderate white head. Aroma of some citrus, wheat and yeast. Taste is refreshing and rather straight forward, citrus, wheat some yeast, banana, and slight tartness on the finish. Not my favorite style of beer, but this one was pretty decent
