2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 WesKBob (541) - Bethany, USA - MAR 21, 2011
Pours a hazy dark brown. Thin beige head that dissipates quickly. Mild aroma of dark roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is similar, but has some noticeable lager yeast and an off-putting medicinal alcohol flavor. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Not a good one.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 burg326 (1100) - Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2011
12 ounce bottle, that poured a dark black, with a tan head. Aromas of Chocolate, roasted malt, and licorice. It had a nice balance of the aroma that got me excited about the beer, however the flaovrs let me down, and kind of watery on the palate.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ben4321 (2222) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 6/2/11
Aroma: The nose is malty, some chocolate, roasted malts, and some licorice
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a fairly large, creamy, light brown-beige head
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, roast/chocolate malts, some late earthy hop bitterness
Palate: The carbonation is overly fizzy, detracting from the palate, it is medium bodied
Overall Impression:
I thought this was an OK Baltic Porter. It got me to a grand total of 2 ratings from Oklahoma! I can’t say too much great about the beers from this state, but they aren’t terrible either. Anyway, drinkable, but overly carbonated and ultimately just an alright offering.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3145) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 27, 2011
Tarry, prune jam aroma with some creosote. Dark brew with a creamy tan head. Friendly snowman on the label that looks like he’s trying to sell you a used car. Squat US twistoff. A little astringent, a little bitter, lots of fruit, a little sulphur. Not very coffee/roast-oriented, but fruit and creosote dominates this porter. Very effervescent. Not sure what to think about this one - technically decent, not sure how many I would like. Chan’s Wine World, PCB.
