Growler straight from the fermentation tank. Muddy chestnut color, small tan head. Aroma of of grapefruit bubblegum, lemon rind, caramel, toasty edge. Taste is fruity bubblegum, caramel, butterscotch. Lots of potential, but needs some time in the brightening tank to settle and gain more carbonation, and maybe lose a bit of the booziness. Nice stuff anyway.

Really like all of the CC beers. This was a nice weizen that didn have too much banana or clove and has a nic smooth texture and great alcohol warmth.

Bottle shared at Ed5388’s back in May I think. Poured a hazed reddish amber with some yeast cakes and a small foamy beige head. Aroma of sour cherry, breads, raisins, plum. Fizzy body that is thinner and slightly acidic. Flavor is acetone, nail polish remover, sour cherry and bitter lemon. Meh.

22oz bomber shared by Dan P. Pours a dark mahogany red color with a thick foamy tan head. Aroma of sour fruit, funk, cherries, and caramel malt. Taste of sour cherries, funk, dark fruit, caramel malt, and spice.

Pretty decent showing for style. Among the better I’ve had from these guys so far. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Finishes with mild sweetness. Some florals and a touch of bubblegum. Also a touch of woodiness. Alcohol well hidden. Taster at brewery.

4oz pour at the brewery. Pours a hazy caramel amber with some thin spitty off white head. Nose is malty, lots of spice, pepper, clove, bubblegum, banana, honey. Flavor is the same, real estery, clove, banana, honey, straw. Full bodied sticky finish.

Medium/full body and medium/high carbonation.

On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso. Banana and balsamic with some cloves and brown sugar. Not much of a hop aroma. Dark brown amber hazy with thin off-white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation and alcoholic warming. Starts sweet and sour with some balsamic bananas and strawberries. Very sweet finish with carbonic-acetic acidity. Sharp would be a good description. Sweet finish with alcohol and carbonic bite. Cidery. Not quite a subtle weizenbock.

Poured a murky brown color, small quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is sweet notes of apples, touch of dark fruits. Initially i didnt enjoy this one, but as it warmed, started liking it a lot more.
