COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer follows an original recipe of the long-standing head brewer and Chodovar brewery president Jiří Plevka Sr. It is a genuine president of pale lager beers connecting the best taste properties of sweetish South Bohemian lagers with artful bitterness of pils beer types. A specialist committee appraised its quality and the lager was awarded the “Prize of Czech Brewers 2002”.

Bottle 500 ml from Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Golden blonde with an off-white head. Strong aromas of malt, aromatic hop, floral note and honeyish sweetness. The taste is bitter-sweet, beer round richly malted, mouth rather fat, with grassy hop which is lingering on the palate and release itself increasingly.

Ding went the bell! many thanks to Cuso for stashing this one in the box of goodies from Slovakia! .5L swingtop. Mmmmm lagery corn laden nose.. Bright golden in the glass with a thinner white head. Sedate carbonation. Rich and sweet malt body with a sweet corn finish. Yum, I could drink this lightly hopped critter all day long......or until I passed out.
