Bottle. Good head, lovely clear color. Weak aroma of malt and peas. Very balanced and malty taste, a bit on the sweet side, but has some biterness in it, too. Very good lager.

Bottle. Clear golden amber pour with a long-lasting creamy white head. Malty, grassy aroma has notes of honey, caramel, hay and herbs. Flavour is particularly malty with overtones of fresh bread, caramel and grain, with a hint of lemon. Creamy mouthfeel with soft carbonation and a lingering mildly bitter finish. Exceptionally easy to drink, this is a rather outstanding Czech Pilsner.

Bottle. Gold with a white head that never disappears. Aroma of hay, earth, herbs. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Substantial firm grainy taste with balancing bitterness. Lingering earthy and herbal flavours. Decent beer from the malty end of Czech pils.

Не понять мне никогда восторгов и осанн «замецкому» «Ходовару», патамушта с закрытыми глазами никогда не отличил бы его от какого-нибудь свитлого «Черниговского». Хотя все, что не касается самого пива выше всяких похвал:
– красивая фирменная бутылка, выглядящая пообъемнее своих стандартных 0.5 л;
– пробка, вылетающая с хлопком, от которого шампанские вина сразу впадают в долговременную депрессию;
– пропасть всяческих грамот, сертификатов и знаков отличия;
– семейная пивоварня, основанная в 1573 году и всё бла-бла с этим связанное;
– отсутствие пастеризации, положительно влияющее на имидж пива;
– стоимость бутылки, зашкаливающая за 5 USD, аутоматычно и по нэбачимой траэктории переводящая «замецкий» лежак в разряд ультра-эксклюзивных пив ;)

Bottle from brewery shop. Golden color with nice huge white head. Aroma of pineapple, honey, bitter hops. Taste, start sweet with honey and caramel hints, continues fruity, with exotic fruit, ends with nice flowery bitter hops. Nice.

Sьffig getreidiger Antrunk mit dezenten Wьrznoten, die im Mittelteil steigen und dann verharren. Etwas grasig hopfig, sehr sьffig und einfach harmonisch. Zum Ende herber, dazu auch getreidiger. 9/10/10/9/6/9

SьЯ-hopfiger Geruch. Ein wenig sьЯlicher und vor allem milder Antrunk. Dann etwas herber, aromatischer werdend. Der Abgang steigert noch ein wenig die Herbe, die insgesamt aber noch mild ist.

Bottle 50 cl. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Clear light yellow color. Aroma of light sweet caramel, hint of butterscotch, light bitter floral hoppy notes. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light bitter and sweet flavor in balance. Light dry and bitter finish.

Damn, I think I had eaten something that colored my experience in tasting beer. This is my second beer in a row that tasted metallic. I tried to fix that by finding something else to counter that and the only thing I could find was pine flavored lozenges I got in Pilsen! Ha! Metallic flav is gone, pine is here. Anyway, poured with a small to medium sized off white head that slowly fades and some lace. Aroma is malt, hop, caramel, grain, and fresh baked bread. Flavor is.... ok all things considered. Great body and carbonation. Finish is like flavor.
