4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 1, 2010 Light aroma of floral hops and herbs. Fizzy mostly diminishing white head, but nice deep golden body . Dry bitterness, good thick body for a pilsner is so rare. Hops are also dominating the flavour.Great pils. A bit too dry for my palate. My mouth run dry, so i have to take another one.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Pale golden color with tiny, lively bubbles and a huge frothy white head with some nice lace around.
Aroma: Tipical, fresh grainy malts with bready and nutty quality and a hint of hop spiciness.
Flavor: Very bready, grainy malty character, almost salty crackers-like. Moderate sulphurous yeasty notes. Maybe some faint lighter fruits from the background.
Sharp, crisp hoppy edge at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Perfectly smooth, nice balance between the malts and hops. The carbonation level is thirst quenching with natural, small bubbles.
Overall: Enjoyable czech-pils! Not as vibrant in the hop profile as expected, but well-balanced and pure, tasty bohemian one.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2010 0,5 l bottle.
Classic lager appearance with a golden body and a medium, delicious, fine and froathy white head that diminishes slowly with laces on the glass. Fine bready malt based sourish aroma, flowery hops. Smooth mouthfeel, rich body. Malt based flavor with mild carbonation, fine character of bottom-fermentation, nice flowery hop flavor. Complex palate, fine hoppy-malty aftertaste. One of the best lager what i’ve ever tasted!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours orangey amber with a thick white head that quickly dissipates. The wonderful aroma is of rich malt, some grassiness, fruit -- virtually no hops. The flavor is nicely layered: more rich malt, some caramel, fruit. It is rather sweet, but not overly so, and well balanced with some light hops that come on toward the end. The mouthfeel is creamy. All in all, a very satisfying, interesting beer. Rich, but not heavy.
