Bottled, 500ml from Millets farm Shop, Frilford. Gold with white head. Easy drinking if thin, sharp malty bitter, some sharp hoppiness, a light tinny type taste, then a slightly sweetish malt. Reasonable enough.

Bottled from pack of Woods beer from Spring Show at Malvern. Poured a golden orangey colour, with now head at all. Plenty of fruitt in the nose, also with a dry finish.

Bottled purchased from fancy garden centre farm shop betwen Hereford and Ledbury Sat 4th March hadn’t realised this was actually out of date by 5-6 weeks until I had drank it. Amber beer very clean, sharp bitter taste wasn’t up too much really.

Bronze with not much life. Aroma is clean, crisp and grainy. Flavours are mellow with traces of vanilla, caramel, some oakiness and smokiness. A dry finish that is more a whisper than shout.

rauchbier (3205) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2003
Bottled. Amber with a slight haze, poor head and low condition. Caramel and strawberry nose, with a fruity malt body with some suggestion of hops and a forgetably short dry finish.
