Had this one @ the chouffe tavern, golden colour medium foamy head, sweet hoppy flowery, koriander herby like smell, soft refreshing taste with a bitter finish medium carbonation creamy mouth feeling

Dark golden in color with a white head. The aroma of soft-white flowers is the best part of the beer. The flavor is soft at the beginning, the body is absent, and then a lingering of gentle bitterness does not welcome you back for another taste.

truly phenomenal. far better than any other Chouffe offerings. this is rustic, subtle, yet refined and classic. honey, grass, earthy, spicy malts, refreshing lemony finish.

Smagt hos J & C. Tak Mads. Korn, karamal, citron, rødlig, tæt lang skum, lidt sød og lidt sur, let, vandede, blød, speciel og god.

I was fortunate enough to have one of these in Antwerp. It was quite nice. Hazy golden with a long lasting white head. Sweet with a spicy hop aroma quality that was very surprising. Medium-full bodied. Spicy taste that lingers for a minute and then is gone.

bit to lean for a chouffe beer

The aroma is fresh, grassy, and spicy. The color is a clear amber and it has a beutiful white head. The flavor is sweet, malty, and spicy. It ends on a dry grassy and hoppy note. The body is somewhat thin - must be because of the low ABV by Belgian standards

Nicely fragrant summer beer. Flowery hops contribute to aroma along w. a peppery spiciness, fresh sawdust, soap - sounds a bit odd but nice. Reddish-gold color w. nice creamy head, which remains well into your drinking. Earthy enough to be called a saison but w. an English ale fruitiness - a hybrid beer, perhaps. Finishes cleanly, and a bit dry. A touch light struck, but very drinkable.
