this is like a light belgian has some of the characteristics that one would expect from a belgian but in a weaker, sissier form. do not waste your time.

A rocky white head sits atop this spicy, pleasant beer with a hint of hops in the finish. I think it’s one of the finer Chouffe beers, perhaps because of the nice addition of rye. A summer sipper.

Best before end of 2005, drank in the middle of 2004. Light hazy light orange color with a rock white head. Grass, lemon, flowers and yeast make up the aroma, and the body is fizzy, but in a good way. Ends adicic with a touch of bitterness with the yeast taste hanging around for a while.

Slightly skunked smell, even slighter in the taste. Heavily malty, with 3 kinds of malts (barley, rye, wheat), but not sweet at all. Its dry and somewhat yeasty. Big rocky white head.

Draught at The gingerman NYC. Pours hazy golden with a nice head. Fruity and drinkable, finishes in a herbal note. A session Houbolon dobbleln IPA Tripel!

Bright orange gold body, some haze, topped with a fluffy head, good lacing. Aroma is fresh herbs, spices (corriander). Taste is very summery and refreshing - bubblegum edges, spices, citrus fruits. Finish was excellent - very dry.

On tap at Gilly's Craft Beer & Fine Wine. Opaque dark brown small tan head and excellent lacing. Aroma of fruit, spice, nuts, citrus, brown sugar, molasses, fig and date. Taste earthy, toasted malt, fruit, orange and brown sugar. Medium plus body with above average carbonation. Smooth, slightly foamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Certainly lightweight! The aroma is mellow, wheaty, very lightly fruited. The taste is, well, light and airy, sparkly fruit like a very mild champagne. Not unpleasant, just quite mild.

Draft at Churchkey. Pours a hazy dark gold with a smallish head. Nose holds interesting autumnal spice notes, orange peel, hay, some grassy hops. Flavor is similar but with increased bread and dough and a nice dry finish. Pretty good.
