Tap. Close amber with decent head. Slight metallic aroma. Light, slightly citrusy not too sweet or too hoppy.

On tap at Toronado, SF. Deep blonde to orange pour, decent looking with a moderate cloudiness and a struggling-to-exist head. Soft herbal notes very understated in the nose along with some floral and malty overtones. Decent sipper, a bit earthy and hoppy but ultimately not so much character.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5768) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Sampled on draft at Zeno’s in State College PA this beer poured a murky tan-orange color with a medium sized foamy off white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was a bit tart with a bit of golden fruits and faint notes of yeast and pepper. The flavor was tart, dry and bitter with touches of peach, pear and bread dough. Medium length dry tart peach, pear and bread dough finish. Medium body. Ok.

Summer beer from Achouffe, dating from when they were still independent and had a beer for each of the four seasons. Tasted as an old beer at 5 years of age, some cardboard in the nose, but otherwise well-preserved, soft, friendly and yeasty character, dryish, some peach, aromatic hop bitterness in the finish.

amber in color with a hoppy aroma, hint of fruit, had a citrus flavour with a hop finish, went down like water.... lacked substance

Dark golden in color with a white head. The aroma of soft-white flowers is the best part of the beer. The flavor is soft at the beginning, the body is absent, and then a lingering of gentle bitterness does not welcome you back for another taste.

Appearance: Hazy unfiltered peachy hued bread under a thin, tight white head which leaves light traces of lace in its wake.
Nose: Freshly sliced peaches and apricots. Cereal grains along the sides. Fruity spices. Curacao orange peel. Grains of paradise. Herbs and grass.
Palate: Smooth mouthfeel, light and fruity, refreshing. Delicate notes of fresh apricot, peach, and kiwi. Spice is more subdued than in the nose – a shadowy partner. Tropical fruit skins bitterness in the back.
Final Thoughts: Subtle is the name of the game here – subtle but not boring. Personally, I would prefer more oomph in the flavors present. That’s really the only part of this beer that is lacking. Don’t get me wrong though; I’d drink another if offered.

2/II/14 - 75cl bottle @ Vintage Tasting, Brugs Bierfestival - BB: ? probably at least 10 years old (2014-158) Thanks to the person who contributed this bottle!

Clear dark orange to amber beer, big irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of peaches, orange peel, sweet malts, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: fruity, lots of peaches, some orange candy. Aftertaste: marzipan, peach candy, bit sweet and sugary, some cardboard. Survived pretty well, but I’d rather have a fresh one. HEY, MOORTGAT, DID YOU HEAR ME? I WANT THIS STUFF DISTRIBUTED IN BELGIUM, instead of just the States and the Netherlands. (Pssst: I’ve heard rumours that as from this spring, it will be available in Belgium.)

Like an average English Bitter, but with that strange vanilla horse blanket quality that Belgian beers have. There are some medicinal spices flying around, and a light hop bitterness. The malt base doesn't really make a strong appearance so this is certainly suitable for a summer refresher. There's plenty going on to keep up interest, but overall I wasn't impressed.
