2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy unfiltered peachy hued bread under a thin, tight white head which leaves light traces of lace in its wake.
Freshly sliced peaches and apricots. Cereal grains along the sides. Fruity spices. Curacao orange peel. Grains of paradise. Herbs and grass.
Smooth mouthfeel, light and fruity, refreshing. Delicate notes of fresh apricot, peach, and kiwi. Spice is more subdued than in the nose – a shadowy partner. Tropical fruit skins bitterness in the back.
Subtle is the name of the game here – subtle but not boring. Personally, I would prefer more oomph in the flavors present. That’s really the only part of this beer that is lacking. Don’t get me wrong though; I’d drink another if offered.

Initial aroma on opening bottle was of cabbage but that soon disappeared to leave, erm , no discernable aroma. Excellent fluffy rocky head with loads of lace and good condition. Some fruity yeast notes in the mouth but slightly thin and dry in the finish. Not one of their best beers.

Like an average English Bitter, but with that strange vanilla horse blanket quality that Belgian beers have. There are some medicinal spices flying around, and a light hop bitterness. The malt base doesn't really make a strong appearance so this is certainly suitable for a summer refresher. There's plenty going on to keep up interest, but overall I wasn't impressed.

Bière blanche très marqué Coriandre, mais mal équilibrée. C’est un mix de bière de vacances et de bière Belge. Il y a beaucoup mieux sur ce type de blanche. La moins aboutie des Chouffe.

Tap at Smoke and Barrel in Adam’s Morgan DC. Thanks to Travlr! Pours a hazy light orange with with weak, white head. Estery apple and pear nose. Taste is soapy, watery, mild lemon, papery, astringent and tannic barley husk. Oversparged perhaps. Not a fan.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy with a frothy top off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very hazy dark orange colored body. The mild aroma was malty and dough. The sour mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of sour hops and malt. Not one that I would likely drink again.
