ogivlado (2193), Zagreb, Croatia Oct 11, 2007 On tap at Bier Cafe Het Elfde Gebod.
Dark reddish/brown coloured, medium sized head, malty nose. The aroma is malty and slight hoppy with weak fruity and toffee notes. Metallic finish. Quite disappointing beer. swoopjones (1048), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 29, 2007 On tap @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Orangish color. Caramel, toffee. Almost Deadguy like. Creamy mouth & wel done. Never heard of this one before this martinboer (1297), Amsterdam, Netherlands Sep 16, 2007 On tap at Dopey’s Elixir, A’dam. Orange colour, tall white creamy head. Orange nose and flavour. Spicy and sweet flavours of caramel and fruits. Lots of lacing. Excellent brew. Has this "retired" beer been reintroduced? It’s available all over Amsterdam on tap. thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Sep 13, 2007 Tap @ In die Blauwe Hand, Nijmegen. Pours a very clear orange amber with a small creamy off white head. It has an incredibly amount of lacing. Sweet aroma with a light touch of caramel - perhaps even toffee. Round and well-balanced mouthfeel - quite high in carbonation, making the beer fresh and accesible. Lots of caramel flavours dominate, sweetness, peppery bitterness and a general fullness in palate. Great brew! goozen (730), Leiden, Netherlands Sep 12, 2007 This one is back in bussiness from tap at the Bonte Koe, Leiden: Amber looking Bock from the Ardennes a roasty raste with some caramel hints. Mine first Bock for the season.
